NOTICE OF 2017 ANNUAL MEETING AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION

The Annual Membership Meeting and Election of the BRSP Board of Directors is scheduled to be held on Monday, May 15 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the main club house.  Counting of the ballots will take place beginning at 5:00 PM that day and the election of the four new Board members will be announced at the meeting.

Four (4) of the seven (7) seats on the Board of Directors are up for election for a two-year term of office.  A ballot, voting instructions and the Biography/Personal statements for the six (6) candidates are posted on the BRSP website at brspclub.com and available in either BRSP Clubhouse.   A member in good standing is one who maintained his/her membership continuously from 15 January 2017 to May 9, 2017

All members are strongly encouraged to vote.  Unless you vote, your opinion cannot be counted.

You may download a ballot from the website or pick up copies at the range.  Follow the instructions and mail your ballot, or drop it off in a box located at either clubhouse.

Mailed ballots must be received by Monday, May 15, 2017, 6:00 PM to be -counted in this year’s election.  A final collection of the club PO Box will be made shortly before the meeting to catch any last minute deliveries to our PO Box prior to closing the balloting.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or any other member of the BOD.  Remember, this is your club and members of the BOD are your choice.

Voting Instructions

There are four (4) Board seats open this year.  Six (6) members have declared their candidacy for the open seats.  The four candidates receiving the most votes will be elected.  Also attached is a Proxy for those who cannot attend the Annual Meeting.

You must vote in the following manner.

1.       After reviewing the individual bios, place an X in the appropriate line(s) on the Ballot (vote for no more than 4) for those you feel are most qualified.  Make NO other marks on the Ballot.

2.       Place your ballot in an envelope and seal it.  Address this envelope to BRSP:

3.       Legibly write your name & EPM#, as appears on the membership roster, in the return address portion (the upper left hand corner) of the envelope.  Please sign across the back of the envelope.  We will not count your ballot if we cannot determine who submitted it. 

4.       Either mail the envelope with your ballot, or hand deliver it to BRSP to be placed in the locked ballot box at either the main club house or at the rifle and pistol range.

Failure to follow the above instructions will invalidate your vote!
