Rifle and Pistol Events in February

We just wanted to give you all a quick heads up about what we are up to in February on the rifle pistol side of the park. On 2 Feb we will be having a low light match on E and F range. There will be a safety briefing 1700 on E range. Shooting will start at 1800 depending on the amount of ambient light. We will be having 2 matches, one for pistol and one for pistol caliber carbine. Within those 2 matches, we will have 2 divisions, weapon mounted light and hand held light. There will be a total of 4 courses shot, 1 Long Course 36-40 hits, 1 Short course 12-24 hits, 2 Speed Shoots 10-20 hits about 100 rounds total. Bringing extra ammo is advised. The cost will be $20 for each entry, and signups will be on There will be a maximum of 40 guns allowed.

On 2 Feb and 16 Feb we will be holding a steel challenge match. These matches are a total of 4 stages and can be shot with Centerfire pistol, Rimfire pistol, Rimfire rifle, PCC, either with irons or optics, and will be shot on all steel targets. If you are currently a member of USPSA then you will get your scores uploaded and count towards a national ranking. There will need to be at least 10 shooters for the match to proceed and all signups will be done on Signup will need to be done before noon on the day preceding the match.

On 5 Feb, 12 Feb, 19 Feb, 26 Feb we will be holding our regular Tuesday night USPSA matches. This match will be a field course as well as a classifier and will require 50-70 rounds total. All signups will be on , will cost $16.00, and we will have multiple divisions (Limited, Open, Production, Revolver, Single Stack, Limited 10, PCC, and Carry Optics). Please keep in mind that we need 10 shooters for the match to take place and sign-ups must be completed before 3:00pm the day of the match.
